In an effort to improve their water usage, an oil and gas company enlisted E-Pump and E-Tank to design and fine-tune a flowback treatment system for the recycling of flowback water from fracking. We responded to the necessity to make this process more eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Utilizing a series of a hydraulic submersible pump, wet prime mud pump, 6 bag filter, spill containment, hose, valves, fittings, flow meters, and tanks, we installed a treatment system at an active frac site. The system captured flowback water from the gas and oil wells, separated out solids, treated the water, and then mixed it with fresh water to be used in the next round of fracking.
